The Philippine Nurses Association of San Diego County, Inc. (PNASD)'s Mental Health and Wellness Event found a new home this year courtesy of The House of the Philippines. It will be at the International Cottages Lawn Area in Balboa Park on October 3, 2026 from 1pm to 4pm.. This year’s event is called Halika Fest. Halika in English means Come Along.

The community is invited to Come Along (Halika) with PNASD to a free community event designed to raise awareness about mental health, promote wellness, reduce stigma, and connect individuals and families with mental health and other community resources.

This will be the fourth year PNASD has hosted a community event focused on mental health and wellness. The event reflects PNASD's commitment to community health, education, advocacy, and service.

Addressing mental health needs in the community is beyond the scope of one organization. However, raising awareness, reducing stigma, promoting wellness, and connecting people with available resources are meaningful and vital contributions that PNASD can make.
