The Philippine Nurses Association of San Diego (PNASD) will celebrate the renewal of its leadership and honor excellence among Filipino American nurses at the 2026 Induction Ceremony, themed “The Joy of Colors,” on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 6:00 P.M. to 12:00 midnight at the Sheraton Resort San Diego. The theme symbolizes the diversity, resilience, and growing influence of the Filipino American nursing community, with each color representing core values of the profession—including compassion, leadership, innovation, service, and hope. At a time when nursing faces unprecedented national challenges, “The Joy of Colors” stands as a powerful affirmation that cultural heritage, unity, and shared purpose remain sources of strength. The ceremony also commemorates PNASD’s 52-year legacy, honoring past visionaries, empowering today’s leaders, and inspiring the next generation of nurses shaping healthcare in San Diego and beyond.

Attire: Formal Gala | The Joy of Colors
Formal or gala attire is required. Guests are encouraged to express the theme “The Joy of Colors” through elegant use of color—bold or subtle—reflecting heritage, leadership, and individuality.

Traditional Filipino attire (Barong Tagalog, Filipiniana, Maria Clara–inspired gowns, or modern interpretations) is highly encouraged. Formal gowns, tuxedos, or suits are also appropriate. Neutral palettes are welcome when paired with intentional color accents.
